Eraman and Glenfiddich Welcomes the New Year with Premium Whiskey Offering
Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, 9 January 2020 – ERAMAN the leading airport duty free and travel retailer in Malaysia partnered with the world's most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, Glenfiddich (by William Grant & Sons) to welcome in the new year by introducing the Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 years over an exclusive dinner which was held at Lafite, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
The event was graced by Datuk Seri Michael Yam, Chairman of ERAMAN, Zulhikam Ahmad, General Manager of ERAMAN, Matthew Williams, Regional Director of Asia Pacific Global Travel Retail and Brett Bayly, Glenfiddich brand ambassador for South East Asia. Top spenders of the Eraman Privilege Card membership and special friends of Eraman were invited to join this special 4-course dinner.

Aside from Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 years, guests were also served with award-winning range of Speyside single malt whiskies, the Glenfiddich 21 years Rum Cask Finish, Glenfiddich 25 years Rare Oak and Glenfiddich 30 years during the dinner. Brett Bayly, the Glenfiddich ambassador of South East Asia delighted the guests with industry insights of the whiskies that were presented during the evening.
The contribution from the liquor category YTD November 2019 was 43% of the overall Eraman retail and F&B business segments. It achieved a significant growth of approximately 3.8% of total sales in the liquor category.
